Talk through your under-65 health options
No-cost, no-pressure guidance by phone, video, or an in-home visit.
Health coverage for the in-between years
Self-employed, retiring early, between jobs, or just off a parent's plan? We help people under 65 across Tampa and Florida compare private and supplemental options without the call-center pressure.
We'll also tell you honestly when HealthCare.gov or another marketplace path may be the better fit. The goal is the right protection, not forcing you into the wrong lane.
Coverage now, with Medicare continuity when your enrollment window arrives.
Who This Helps
Coverage built around real situations that do not fit neatly into a Medicare page.
Self-employed & 1099
You don't have an employer plan, and you want protection that fits an unpredictable income.
Early retirees (60–64)
You left work before 65 and need a bridge until Medicare begins. This is our specialty — and we'll be right there when you turn 65.
Between jobs / off COBRA
COBRA is expensive. There may be a lower-cost way to stay protected while you figure out the next step.
Just aged off a plan (26)
First time buying your own coverage? We make it simple.
Already insured, but exposed
Add supplemental protection — hospital, accident, or critical-illness cash — to fill the gaps a high-deductible plan leaves behind.
Coverage Options We Can Review
We compare the type of protection, the carrier fit, and the limitations before you make a decision.
Short-term & private medical
Flexible coverage for temporary gaps — between jobs, waiting for a new plan to start, or bridging to Medicare. Not comprehensive ACA major medical; see the honesty box below.
Hospital & fixed indemnity
Plans that pay cash benefits directly to you for covered hospital stays, procedures, or doctor visits — money you can use however you need.
Supplemental protection
Accident, critical illness, cancer, dental and vision coverage that stacks on top of whatever you already have.
Straight Talk Before You Enroll
The plans on this page are private and supplemental. They are not comprehensive ACA marketplace major-medical coverage sold on HealthCare.gov, and some do not cover pre-existing conditions.
For some people — especially if you qualify for a subsidy — a marketplace plan is the better, more complete choice. For others, private or supplemental protection can be a smart bridge.

Under-65 Coverage Questions, Answered
Is this Obamacare / an ACA marketplace plan?
No. The plans we offer here are private and supplemental — short-term medical, hospital/fixed indemnity, and supplemental protection. They're different from the comprehensive ACA plans on HealthCare.gov. We'll tell you honestly if a marketplace plan is the better fit for your situation.
I'm 62 and retired early. What do I do until Medicare?
This is exactly who we help. Depending on your health and timeline, a short-term or supplemental plan can bridge the gap until your Medicare Initial Enrollment Period — and because we're a Medicare agency, we'll be right there to set up your Medicare when you turn 65.
Do these plans cover pre-existing conditions?
Some do not. This is one of the most important things to understand before enrolling, and it's a core part of our honest review — we won't let you buy something that leaves you exposed without explaining it first.
Is COBRA my only option if I lost my job?
Often, no. COBRA is comprehensive but expensive. Depending on your needs there may be lower-cost private or supplemental options — and you may also qualify for a Special Enrollment Period on the ACA marketplace. We'll lay out the trade-offs.
What does your help cost?
Nothing. Our guidance is no-cost to you. We're compensated by the carriers when you enroll, and we'll always be upfront about your options — including the ones we don't sell.
Not Sure Where You Fit?
A no-cost call can help you understand private, supplemental, COBRA, and marketplace trade-offs before you choose.
AdviseCare Insurance is a licensed, independent insurance agency (NPN 21668131; FL License L132204). The under-65 products described are private and supplemental health insurance offered through the carriers we represent, including UnitedHealthcare/UHOne (Golden Rule Insurance Company), Allstate Health Solutions, and Manhattan Life. Short-term, fixed-indemnity, and supplemental plans are not comprehensive major medical coverage, are not minimum essential coverage under the ACA, and may not cover pre-existing conditions. They are not a substitute for ACA marketplace coverage for everyone. Benefits, availability, and eligibility vary by state, age, health status, and carrier. This page is for educational purposes and is not an offer of coverage. For comprehensive ACA marketplace options and subsidy eligibility, visit HealthCare.gov.
