Monthly Premiums (some may be $0)
Provider Networks (HMO vs. PPO)
Out of Pocket Costs (Copays, deductibles, and maximum limits)
Extra Benefits (Wellness, hearing aids, dental coverage)
In addition to standard Medicare coverage, many Medicare Advantage Plans may offer:

You have Medicare Part A and Part B
You live in the plans service area
Enrollment Periods:
Initial Enrollment Period (IEP): Around your 65th birthday or when you first qualify for Medicare.
Annual Enrollment Period (AEP): October 15 - December 7 each year.
Open Enrollment Period (OEP): January 1 - March 31 each year.
Special Enrollment Period (SEP): Triggered by certain life events (like moving or losing other coverage.)
Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans are offered by private insurance companies that contract with Medicare. Plan availability, benefits, premiums, copayments, and coinsurance amounts vary by carrier and location. Enrollment in a Medicare Advantage plan requires enrollment in both Medicare Part A and Part B.
